This new subcategory aims to provide plus-size women with easier access to stylish, comfortable, and confidence-boosting clothing. Shoppers can also benefit from engaging features like live try-on sessions and genuine reviews from content creators, making the online shopping experience more interactive and personalized.
The platform is also highlighting the voices of inspiring female creators such as Ariella Diaz and Shaine Fonacier. Ariella, known for her creative styling content and support for local brands, has built a strong community of over 400,000 followers. Meanwhile, Shaine uses her platform to share her personal journey and uplift plus-size women, encouraging them to embrace their bodies with confidence.
Beyond creators, TikTok Shop is helping to grow women-led businesses like GZL Plusize Girly, founded by Gizelle Mamaril Mamburam. Since starting in 2021, her brand has offered trendy plus-size clothing and actively uses live streams and tutorials to connect with and inspire customers.
With this expansion, TikTok Shop reinforces its mission to foster a more inclusive and empowering e-commerce space—where all women, regardless of size, can see themselves represented and feel celebrated.
